Innocence of children

Kids are awesome with the things they perceive and say. Their expression to make someone feel better is really cool also. I had a coworker pass away recently (about a month ago). I was just kind of reflecting on the past. My daughter comes walking down the hallway from her bedroom and says, "Daddy I hope your friend feels better." Somewhat puzzled, I couldn't think of who was sick that she would know. I asked, "Which friend, Peanut?" Her response, "The one that died!" I laugh inside and said, "Thank you, I'm sure he does."
